About
岡田純奈バレエ団とは
This page introduces Sumina Okada Ballet Company based in Nagoya, Aichi.
I am Sumina Okada, the representative of Sumina Okada Ballet Company.
I established this company in 1964 as “Mutsumi Nanjo Ballet Laboratory” in Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya City. Now we are based in Chikusa-ku and Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya City, and Kariya City. and we have made efforts to share attractions of ballet with neighbors for over 50 years.
Ballet is the basis for all physical expression. You can learn to feel the rhythm and melody in your body, and develop your physical ability through ballet lessons. Ballet elements are into various types of dance and exercise, such as jazz dance, figure skating, artistic swimming, and hip-hop dance.
Moreover, you can play music more beautifully by using ballet rhythms and melodies. Especially, abdominal and back muscles from ballet lessons help you with your singing.
My hope is ballet will increase the future possibilities for children. I believe that children gain many things from ballet and they will use it in the future.
I am sure ballet also gives adults positive effects on their various goals.
Please try our ballet lessons!
